1. Riding up the Eiffel Tower. While children may not appreciate all of the historical monuments in Paris, they will enjoy Paris’s most well known landmark. Skip the steps and take the elevator up the tower with kids. Traveling to the top may not be appropriate for very young children, but older children will love the ride. After the trip up the tower, a picnic in the grassy lawn near the tower makes for a fun family meal. Kids will enjoy eating outside and people watching.

2. Visiting Disneyland Paris. Children will love this fun, laid-back theme park. Containing rides, characters, theaters and cinemas, the park will make children of all ages happy.

3. Taking a trip to Cite des Sciences. The Cite des Sciences, or Museum of Science and Industry, contains many exhibits that both adults and children will find fascinating. The museum features many hands-on and interactive displays that will keep kids engaged and interested.

4. Enjoying the Paris Plague. The city beaches offer many kid-friendly activities in the summer season. Children will have fun kayaking or swimming in pools. Many of the beaches hold concerts in the evening, and both adults and kids will enjoy the festive atmosphere at the beaches.

5. Riding the Luxembourg Garden Carousel. The Luxembourg Gardens park contain a beautiful classical carousel that children will love taking a ride on again and again. Spinning around on brightly colored animals while music plays is sure bring a smile to any child’s face.

Parents of children will find Paris to be one of the most accessible cities to travel to on a family vacation. The variety and low prices of Paris flights, and the numerous kid-friendly activities in the city make it an excellent destination for the whole family.

This year I am going on holiday with two of my friends from college and we are going to Corfu. We wanted to find somewhere with plenty of bars and fun things to do in the evening, and lots of nice beaches to relax on in the day./ We also wanted somewhere that was definitely going to be hot and Corfu seemed to meet all of those requirements!

We had a look online and found some very cheap Corfu flights and the accommodation that we found was equally as cheap so that would leave all the more money to spend on evening entertainment! I had heard so much about Corfu from my elder brother, who had been there a few times. He told me that I had to make sure I got a snorkel as the snorkelling was as good in Corfu as it was anywhere. He had seen cuttle fish and a big octopus just off the coast!

I really cannot wait to get going. This holiday is going to be my first whole week away from my parents in my entire life and I can’t wait to feel a bit of freedom!
