A week in Corfu
I am so glad I have finally reached the age where I can go on holiday with my friends! I turned seventeen last year and my parents have finally agreed to me going on holiday with my friends! That means no more boring walks through the parks of central France, or trips to the art galleries in Italy!
This year I am going on holiday with two of my friends from college and we are going to Corfu. We wanted to find somewhere with plenty of bars and fun things to do in the evening, and lots of nice beaches to relax on in the day./ We also wanted somewhere that was definitely going to be hot and Corfu seemed to meet all of those requirements!
We had a look online and found some very cheap Corfu flights and the accommodation that we found was equally as cheap so that would leave all the more money to spend on evening entertainment! I had heard so much about Corfu from my elder brother, who had been there a few times. He told me that I had to make sure I got a snorkel as the snorkelling was as good in Corfu as it was anywhere. He had seen cuttle fish and a big octopus just off the coast!
I really cannot wait to get going. This holiday is going to be my first whole week away from my parents in my entire life and I can’t wait to feel a bit of freedom!
